Sew Special

Sew Special is an additional service from A Doll's Dressmaker. I make matching outfits for child and doll, which even includes hand-knit sweaters! (You can see some examples of matching sweaters in the catalog.) These custom outfits can be made to match already existing patterns in my catalog, as well as custom orders upon request.

About Pat Robinson

After purchasing the American Girl Doll for my grand-daughters, I said, "I can make these clothes." And little did I know that this would be the start of A Doll's Dressmaker. I've been doing this since 1999 and I'm still loving it.

Having a quilter's background has given me the patience and skills to necessary to create more than one design at a time, and to maintain a standard of quality that I am happy with. I never use shortcuts like glue or staples when finishing a garment.

I've been sewing all my adult life and hope to continue long into the future. I've always been a "doll person" and it is great fun with my grandaughters.
